Purchased the $0.99 FaceTime HD app from the Mac App Store. Hard to believe that they are charging $0.99 for an app that is restricted to Apple-only products. Oh well, it was only $0.99. Called my daughter. Grabbed some screenshots.

Now if only I could use my Mac full time again, I’d be able to call all my iPhone 4 friends from my desk.

Great time with Jed today at Get Some. We picked up a box of 45 auto ammo and rented a little 3″ barrel 1911. Between the 45 and the new Springfield XDm we put a lot of lead through the target. Jed’s highlight of the day was the 50 cal Barrett. Fun times.

Latitude not all that accurate

Amy and I went to In-N-Out for dinner–last visit was before the new year. After we visited Red Mango for a treat.

We were playing with Google Lattitude on our iPhones. Interestingly enough the maps of our location were .6 miles off even though we were sitting next to each other on tha couch by the fireplace.

The older I get, the more I understand why my Grandpa Baldwin’s favorite song was Love at Home. I can’t help but think of him whenever I hear this hymn.

Jed Taking Over as Family Tennis Czar

I love seeing my boys (and girls) find the sports and activities that make them excited. Jed has fallen for tennis, my old favorite sport.

I still love tennis and can still hit te ball from the baseline and volley. However, the serve is gone as my rotator cuff was messed up after throwing a rock at some sheep without any warm up. I just worry that all the rehab would mess with my new favorite sport, golf.

Amazing how fast five years pass. While some nightmares send you to wake me in the middle of the night, some morning require bowls of Cheerios, and some squeals are caused by fighting with brothers and sisters, I still am so happy to have you in my life.

Grassy Knoll Girls

Amy took the girls to Idaho to hang out with their cousins. What great memories are made on these trips. Too bad the distance is so far between some of the cousins since there is so much fun had when everyone gets together.

Grandpa’s been gone for four years

My brother Scott Baldwin captured this video on a trip to my Grandfather Baldwin’s home a couple of years before his death. While I love to hear these stories and view my Grandpa and Grandma, I still remember a much more vibrant, young, and energetic version of the same man and woman. My grandma gave me a pair of red socks for a birthday present when I was around 8 or 9. I still remember that day and the many others where I was able to spend time with her and my grandpa. I remember going fishing once with my day and Grandpa at a lake somewhere in the desert of central Idaho where my Grandpa’s brother had a big ranch. It was a great time.

Grandpa, I miss you. Look forward to a heavenly reunion.
